4 Ways To Get Your Opt In Subscribers To Trust You Quickly

Posted under Copywriting & Copywriting Tips & Marketing & Marketing Tips & Strategies & Newsletters

While the rest of the world have developed many barriers and protections to keep their e-mail accounts spam-free, there are also those that subscribe to mails that promotes their products, services and their site.

This is mainly because these subscribes wants to know more about what these sites are offering and can be beneficial for them. They expect to get be kept posted on what they are interested in and what are new in the market or field they have chosen.

Businesses would be so lucky to have these kinds of customers; the basic element needed to get these types of people is trust. When your customers trust you they will reward you with their loyalty. Many Internet users have gone to great lengths in protecting their email accounts from spam mail. Some free-mail Internet providers and Internet service providers offer spam protection while there are also some Internet based companies that screen your mails for you.

With an opt-in mail list, the mails you send containing your promotional materials such as newsletters, catalogs and marketing media will go through. Your intended recipient will be able to read and view what you have sent making it a successful transfer of information.

To be able to be allowed to do so, you will need permission from your recipient, to get this permission; you need to be able to get their trust. With the great lack of disregard for privacy in the Internet, getting the trust of an Internet user you don’t personally know is a big achievement.

To build a good opt-in list you need people to trust you, for a faster and quicker build up, you need to get your opt-in subscribers to trust you quickly. The faster you build your opt-in list the faster word about your site and company gets to be spread. (a blog can really help with this factor.)  The bigger the scope of your opt-in list the more traffic you get spelling more profits. Its easy math if you thin about it. Getting the numbers is not that simple though, or maybe it is?

•   Getting the trust of your clientele shouldn’t be so hard especially if you do have a legitimate business. Getting your customers trust should be based upon your expertise. People rely on other people who know what they are talking about. Garner all the knowledge and information about your business. Ell, frankly if you decide to go into a business most probably you have an interest in it. Like how many basketball payers become coaches, you don’t really venture into something you don’t have any interest in.

•    Show your clients that you know what you are talking about. Provide them with helpful hints and guidelines that pertain to what you are selling. Talk about how to install a roof if your into hardware products or provide articles on insurance settlements if you’re a settlement lawyer. You don’t have to be a big corporation to make use of an opt-in list. If your customers see you as someone who knows what he is doing and saying, they will trust you quickly.

•    Be true to your customers, if you want to hype up your products and services, provide guarantees. The more satisfied customers you get, the bigger probability there is that they will recommend you. Generally, people will trust someone they know, when that someone recommends you then you’re a shoo-in. They will go to your site and check it for themselves and be given a chance to experience what the other shave experienced from you, so make sure to be consistent in the service you provide.

•    Another tip in getting a customer to trust you quickly is to provide them an escape hatch. Show them that you are not there to trap them. Keep a clean list that would enable them to unsubscribe anytime they want. Elaborate your web form by providing information on how to unsubscribe from the list. Guarantee them that they can let go of the service when ever they want to. Many are wary that they may be stuck for life and would have to abandon their email accounts when they get pestered with spam.

Remember that when you get the trust of your clients don’t lose that trust. Because if you do anything with their email addresses like sell them or give them out, you will lose many members of your list as ell as potential members. The true quickest way to gain the trust of your subscribers is when you are recommended by someone they trust.

In a tight-fist, credit-crunched economy, frustrated business owners are seeking simple and inexpensive solutions to marketing their products and services.

Fortunately, business owners can find answers and the solution in one of the most powerful online business-building tools to date. A Business Blog or “B-Blog”.

Many business owners are beginning to incorporate a blog into their marketing strategy to reap the technological advantages not easily offered by traditional HTML websites. Not to mention the fast and easy updating of a blog without having to learn complicated source code or investing in expensive software editing tools.

“A blog offers an abundance of marketing benefits, both online and offline…” says Granison Shines founder of Shines & Associates, LLC and Arizona’s #1 mixed-marketing strategist. “In fact, we’re adding a b-blog to the marketing strategy of all of our clients and we’re seeing profit –producing results quickly. Joe the Plumber Could Make A Killin’ right now! If He Had A Blog…

Posted under Copywriting & Copywriting Tips & Entrepreneurship & Marketing & Marketing Tips & Strategies & Newsletters

There’s no way you can turn on the TV or radio right now and not hear something about “Joe the Plumber”.

I tell ya’ what, if this guy knew anything about Internet marketing, copywriting, and blogging, he’d easily be in the $250,000+ tax bracket that Obama was explaining to him.

Someone got smart here, but it wasn’t Joe for this site. Take a look – www.joetheplummer.com

Here’s another one (with the correct spelling - the guy with the site above said someone beat him to the punch! This one is old school though – it’s actually an HTML site. Who uses those anymore?) – www.joetheplumber.com

Because a blog IS one of the most powerful business-building tools you can use to grow your business, someone got Speedy Gonzalez and wasted no time putting up a – guess what?  A Blog! (Reference the first link above.)  Take a look at all the replies on this site. Not bad!!

If you have not already, make sure you sign-up for the free seminar we have coming up @ www.Shines30MinuteWebsites.com

So, how could Joe make a killin? Here it is and it’s NOT limited to just Joe – Hint! Hint!

  1. I’d put up a blog site quick, fast, and in a hurry! (Our methodology makes this darn near impossible to mess this one up!)
  2. I’d make sure I used key words and key word phrases like a big dog! Through all of my posts of course! (We’ll touch on this a bit at the seminar also.)
  3. I’d make myself available for speaking engagements – for a fee! For those of you who are speakers, you know what I’m talking about here. (He’s a celeb in the news and he could milk that ‘til the cows came home. That “15 minutes of fame” could go really far in putting some chedda’ in your pocket. Chedda’ – that’s slang for ‘money’ just in case I lost you there!)
  4. I’d give away a soft offer on the blog site so I could institute, you guessed it- direct-response marketing. (That’s a no brainer – cause I do that now.) An offer like what?  Ohhh how about an “Exclusive” “Get-it-here-only” 20 to 30-minute recording I had with my wife or business colleagues in private after talking to Obama. With a blog this is easy to make available to the public.

I would filter gory details like how his hand felt when I shook it. Did it feel like he’s an upstanding guy or a slimy politician?  What his cologne smelled like? etc. etc.  Folks would be all over that like white on rice. Wouldn’t you want to hear that?

  1. I’d also make a product to sell on the blog site. Like what?  Ohhh how about something simple like a “The Original Joe The Plummer” t-shirt all the way to a complex – “Learn from Joe The Plummer” info product.  Especially for all of those curious and hungry-for-business plumbers who are “googling” his name right now. (Which can actually be done pretty quickly if you know what you’re doing. I teach this in my coaching program.)

As for the t-shirts, I’d make sure to tout all the others as fakes. I’d event sign it to make it more valuable and authentic… I’d also make sure the media knew about it. If he did this one right, then he should have several media contacts right?  Ya’ darn tootin!

  1. I’d also send out press releases and post them on the blog so the search engines could easily find them. This happens automatically if your blog is set up right. Again, our methodology takes good care of this issue…

Unfortunately, most newbie bloggers don’t do this part right. We’ll touch on this at the free seminar also.

  1. Last but certainly not least, I would launch an info marketing business teaching others how to do what I do. From marketing to plumbing services – of course, marketing this through the blog for optimal results.

I’d give that a kick-start and ride home long-term, business-building profits.  Take that and run with it why don’t cha’!!

We’ll discuss other possibilities at the seminar.  Register now ‘cuz seating is limited to only 200 attendees!  Go to - www.Shines30MinuteWebsites.com

What’s the Magic Marketing Pill?

Posted under Copywriting & Copywriting Tips & Marketing & Marketing Tips & Strategies

The more I go to events, the more I hear how bad the economy is.

Business owners are highly distressed because they got caught behind the eight ball and got clobbered with a double-whammy –

  1. Funds drying up from Big Company, Inc. – which makes it harder to get community relation dollars for non-profit organizations, as well as, companies not spending money on programs and products that aren’t essential for growth. And…
  2. The effects of not continuously investing in marketing – much like K-mart, some businesses cut back on their marketing budget when the economy tightened up. Tisk! Tisk!

Folks far and wide are trying to get something to “click” which will enable them to sell more products and services. And everyone’s wondering, “Who’s got the magic pill?”

Well, I don’t claim to have all the answers by any stretch of the imagination, but, I have clients that I’m helping with their marketing and they’re up 50% from last year.

I’ve got clients that are now using direct-response marketing techniques and have seen - just as my USP states - “Increased sales by 30% or more in the next 57 days or less.”

What’s the secret? Listen closely – NOT doing what everyone else is doing!!

“Conformity” is one of the biggest downfalls of getting your marketing to work. Just look at all the auto repair coupons you get in the mail… Unfortunately, at times it’s hard to teach an old dog new tricks.

So what can you do? What finishing touches can you put on your marketing to come out smelling like a rose?

Well, I’m going to reveal the hidden mindset you must have to win the battle in an upcoming video series - 8 Big Ideas to Staying Positive and Increasing Revenues – Especially in Today’s Economic Beatdown!

Stay tuned!!

8 Big Ideas to Staying Positive and Increasing Revenues Video Series

Posted under Copywriting & Copywriting Tips & Marketing & Marketing Tips & Strategies & Newsletters

In the not so distant past, I was rudely interrupted by a very successful business owner and asked the question, “What can we business owners do to increase our revenues and stay positive in today’s economic environment?” (Well, it went something like that…)

After looking at her like a hawk treein’ a raccoon (she really thru me off there for a moment) I didn’t quite know where to start.

I deal with this question, in some form or fashion, with several business owners frequently - most of the time resulting in a conversation about marketing and copywriting. How’s that happen?

Then, this very successful blonde bombshell with big blue eyes began to elaborate about how important marketing her business is but she’s “…kinda doing the same-old-same-old…” and needs to venture out to other successful marketing ideas. “That’s good to hear!” I said to her.

Then we struck a conversation about as long as the Nile River regarding what’s working in the market right now – even though the economy has its issues at the moment.

So, I’d like to share with you what I told this young lady!

In fact, I’m going to make a mini video series called “8 Big Ideas to Staying Positive and Increasing Revenues – Even in a Downtrodden and Shaky Economy!”.

Over the next couple of weeks, we’ll talk about everything from mindset to technology.

I’ll discuss items like:

clip_image001 What actions you should take when increasing and learning how to market your business

clip_image001[1] Why it’s important to ‘Stay Educated’ in today’s business environment

clip_image001[2] How to position yourself as the expert in your industry – this simple little secret will keep you head and shoulders over your competitors

clip_image001[3] Why a blog could be the most powerful tool you’ll ever use for your business

clip_image001[4] What online technologies you can use to skyrocket your business to the next level

clip_image001[5] What type of business I would start if I wanted to start another successful business at this very moment – YOU can use this in your business right now if you wanted to

clip_image001[6] How to use the long lost forgotten art of (Wait! - can’t tell you yet – I want your full attention on this one) to build your business quicker

clip_image001[7] Plus much more exciting and beneficial advice…

The Online Copywriting Workshop Was A Huge Success

Posted under Copywriting & Copywriting Tips & Marketing Tips & Strategies & Newsletters

If you missed the online copywriting workshop… “5 Critical Copywriting Components Every Webpage, Sales Letter, Advertisement, Brochure, and Any Other Marketing Piece You Can Think Of, Must Have in Order to Be Wildly Successful, Especially in A Recession Stricken Economy.” oh my goodness! I shared some great information.

As promised, everyone on the call will get an audio download of the entire copywriting event. I will also answer many of the questions that came about at the end of the video - and there were some good questions.

“So what’s next?” people are asking… Well, if you missed the online copywriting workshop event, then you can take advantage of a special presentation I’m giving to a small group of business owners called the Home Based Business Council, a group within the Arizona Small Business Association (http://asba.com/events/details.aspx?EventID=4229).

The topic, “5 Critical Copywriting Components Every Webpage, Sales Letter, Advertisement, Brochure, and Any Other Marketing Piece You Can Think Of, Must Have in Order to Be Wildly Successful, Especially in A Recession Stricken Economy.” Yep, I’m doing it one mo’ ‘gan. (That’s slang for ‘one more time’).

This time, I’ll be live and in person. I promise! Here’s your opportunity to redeem yourself if you missed the first workshop. After that, I plan on putting all of this information in a vault and telling my wife to hide the key. That is until we have the 3-day (one day per week) online copywriting and marketing workshop. I’ll be providing more information on that workshop in the near future.

So if you missed the event, go to www.ShinesCopywritingWorkshops.com and register for the event. There’s a limitation to only 55 attendees. That’s all the room can hold.

To your copywriting and marketing success,
