The Online Copywriting Workshop Was A Huge Success

As promised, everyone on the call will get an audio download of the entire copywriting event. I will also answer many of the questions that came about at the end of the video - and there were some good questions.

Your marketing pieces do not evoke action from your prospects

Why would anyone put a marketing piece in front of a prospect and not try to induce action?

I’m not sure, but they do… I see promotions like that everyday. To tell the truth that’s a waste of your precious marketing budget to follow through on something like that.

What you really need is a Call to Action (CTA) that gives direction on what you want your prospect to do.

Whether we like to admit it or not, some people have to be (and like to be) told what to do. But, it is out job as copywriters and marketers to remind them on what it is they already have decided to do.

What??? Don’t worry I’ll explain in the workshop.

Copywriting Is Sooo Essential For Effective Marketing / Advertising

A new client asked me how I continue to get double-digit increase responses from my copywriting and marketing strategies. I just smiled…

No really… I did!!

Then I finally sat him down in his black, tall-back, leather office chair and said – “xxx (cant’ tell his name of course), It’s all in the way you write the headline, word the body copy, construct your offer, present your call to action, track your results, where you place your marketing materials, how you set up your automatic follow-up process, construct the campaign for maximum success, layout the ad(s), and how you ask for the money!”

Oh my goodness! If looks could kill… You should have seen the confused, beastly scowl on his face as he ground his teeth.

“Relax!” I said. Then I pulled out his ad and showed him how I carefully began with an attention-stealing headline to get his ideal prospect’s attention.

Headlines are sooo important that I can’t begin to tell you (in the blog post) all of the necessary components you need when you’re trying to seize your perfect prospects attention.

Yet, there’s so much advertising material that waste the golden opportunity to reach, talk to, interrupt, grab, stop, suspend, butt into their prospects precious time.

Bizarrely (yep that’s a word look it up), I’ve heard people say before, “I don’t want to seem as if I am hard selling my prospect!!”

That’s a bunch of bull donkey! If you won’t say it directly to them at least let your marketing say it for you.

Your marketing materials should hold up the proverbial bright-red stop sign and say, “Hey You! Read Me Now!!” and then lead them through your well-constructed marketing / sales process through direct-response marketing techniques.
