This skill can make you a TON of money. Many companies and entrepreneurs have business issues that need to be solved in order to get to the next level. In fact, every time I consult with a client, I am using my problem-solving skills to help the client; usually resulting in bottom-line profitability. You too can sharpen this skill and use what you’ve learned from experiences, courses, research, etc. to solve a problem and present the solution to the appropriate people. Negotiating skills - Able to negotiate skillfully; knows how and when to make compromises for a win/win resolution

I negotiate on everything if the opportunity avails itself. Not because I am cheap, but because I see the value or do not see the value in something.

This skill, depending on which side of the negotiation table you are on, can either save you money or make your money. Every “Great Leader” has put this skill to use for personal / professional advancement, growing a business, and investing in products and/or services.

Public Speaking Skills - Able to make formal presentations; presents ideas, positions and problems in an interesting way This one is really easy for me since I am a professional speaker. I just use my “Gift of Gab” to present leadership and management strategies to businesses, as well as in seminars, teleseminar, webinars, etc. Businesses and entrepreneurs also bring me in for consulting engagements, all which ultimately make me more money. Don’t get it twisted; it’s not all about the money. I love helping people and businesses prosper. In fact, what they invest in me usually results in a 5x, 10x, 20x, and even a 100x return on their investment. I’ll take those odds any day!

Interpersonal skills - Able to interact successfully with a wide range of people; knows how to interpret and use body language for personal and professional advancement Every leader has to be able to use this skill to advance himself, his team, or his organization. You cannot successfully lead people without having this skill in a high proficiency. This skill has literally made me 10’s of thousands of dollars simply because I used it to ready body language and interact with others on sales calls. I know for a fact that if I did not know this skill, I would have lost many deals. But, because I picked up on certain “red flags” during my conversation with the decision-maker or buyers, I adjusted the rate of my speech, adjusted my body position, totally went another direction with the conversation, etc. which enabled me to ultimately saved deals and prospered as a result. So, my question to you is, how can you use this skill to make you more prosperous in your career or your business?
